We have added to our capacity with this ROMI D1000 Machining Centre. This machine has a larger bed than our existing machines offering 1220mm x 560mm so providing us with the capability to machine larger components for our customers. This shows again our commitment to adding and improving our capacity to offer what our customers require.
May 2019 we take delivery of our new Leadwell VTL 600 Vertical Lathe
Looking to increase our capacity for large turning we decided on a vertical lathe primarily due to its smaller footprint but still turns up to 600mm diameter. We have invested in Leadwell machinery before and they have shown to be very reliable allowing us to produce products to a very high standard whilst holding tight tolerances. We feel this investment will not only add to our capacity for our existing customers requirements but hopefully entice new business as offering small to medium batch large turning which a great deal of our competitors are unable to offer.
KJE Invest in new ROMI C620
We've now taken delivery of a new lathe to add to our existing Turning department. The ROMI C620 will provide us with the capability to turn up to 550mm diameter and will now double our capacity in large turning adding to our existing Romi Lathe C680 that we purchased 3 years ago. Enquiries for large turning has increased dramatically over the past couple of years so adding to our capacity in this field will allow us to provide the service our existing and potential new customers require.

KJE TAKES DELIVERY OF NEW ROMI C-680 TEACH LATHE
The company is proud to announce that we have taken delivery of a ROMI C-680 CNC teach lathe.
Our new turning centre, housing a Siemens 828-D control system with Shopturn conversational programming, 3-D simulation and colour graphics has further expanded our lathing capacity and will allow us to operate at manual, semi and full CNC capability at a greater level than ever before. This will enable us to continue providing reliable subcontract services to the global semi-conductor industry in addition to all our clients.
